Saskia Blair
With over 30 years of experience, Saskia specialises in treating musculoskeletal conditions with an expertise in treating sports injuries, including neck, back, shoulder, hip, and knee pain. She provides care for all age groups and activity levels, ensuring that everyone, from non-athletes to elite performers, receives expert treatment. She specialises in analysing people’s biomechanical problems and postural dysfunctions and she regularly does workstation assessments.



About Saskia Blair
Saskia Blair graduated from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy in 1988 and has extensive experience across all areas of physiotherapy, both in Wales and abroad. She earned her MSc in Sports Physiotherapy in 2012.
She primarily practises at the Cardiff Physiotherapy Partnership, treating musculoskeletal, postural, and biomechanical issues.
Saskia is highly experienced in various taping techniques, including Kinesio taping. She regularly teaches postgraduates and has developed specialist taping courses to enhance therapists’ skills.
Saskia has worked with Team Wales at four Commonwealth Games (1998 Kuala Lumpur, 2002 Manchester, 2006 Melbourne, 2010 Delhi), supporting multiple sports - including hockey, badminton, judo, and swimming. She was Head Physiotherapist for Team GB at the Athens Olympic Holding Camp in 2004 and Chief Physiotherapist for the UK School Games from 2006-2013.
Currently, she is the Welsh Deaf Rugby Team Physiotherapist, working with the reigning World Deaf Champions. She has also worked with British Fencing, covering Olympic qualifiers, World and European Championships, and continues to support British championships across different age groups.
Previously, she spent five years as a tournament physiotherapist for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and worked with the Football Association of Wales (FAW) U17 & U19 women’s teams.
As an experienced workplace assessor, she can deliver a range of workstation assessments, including a more detailed solution for complex cases.

A service which analyses movement, posture and muscle function to identify imbalances and prevent injuries. Using expert assessment and tailored exercises, we optimise performance for athletes and individuals with musculoskeletal issues - enhancing mobility, strength, and recovery.
Kinesio Taping
Kinesiology taping a form of specialist taping used to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce pain, enhance movement patterns, offload painful structures and promote good circulation and healing while allowing for a more normal range of movement, particularly during a time of injury, or movement dysfunction.
Musculoskeletal Injuries
Neck and back pain, joint and muscle sprains and strains, arthritis and whiplash.
